Yes! The Fiona Top is designed for advanced beginners. It's written with few abbreviations and lots of helpful photos, plus a demo video, so you can create something cute without feeling overwhelmed. You'll just need to be comfortable with a slip knot, single crochet, double crochet, crocheting three stitches, and slip stitch.

You'll need DK weight yarn (3) — approximately 200–350g depending on your size — and a 4mm crochet hook used throughout the top. For the tie, use a 7 or 8mm hook (or 4mm if you prefer). Scissors are essential, and a measuring tape and stitch markers are optional. Feel free to experiment with yarn weight and hook size; just note it can change the fit and look. The designer personally loves a 3.5mm hook for a slightly different feel!

The pattern includes sizes XS, S, M, L, and XL, with an adjustable slit at the back so you can really customize the fit. In the photos, the sage green, yellow, and red tops are size M (UK 10–12), and the light blue top is size S (UK 8–10).
